Olympic Pictograms For the Digital Age
We were tasked with creating a series of pictograms to represent all current, upcoming, and historic sports across the International Olympic Committee’s digital platforms.
Pictograms are designed to communicate to an international audience with diverse language and cultural backgrounds. They have been a part of Olympic design programs since the Tokyo 1964 Games.
The pictograms were developed in collaboration with Studio Hulse & Durrell and illustrator Tamer Koseli. They are now in use on Olympic.org
